Welcome to UAPL
Our research focus is to study ultrafast optics/photonics/plasmonics with experiments – high harmonic generation, optical frequency comb analysis, nonlinear optical yield enhancement, plasmonic phase spectroscopy,  – that investigate optical properties and response of various materials and nano/mate-structures. Also, we develop optic/photonic applications such as plasmonic sensors, hyperspectral imaging, LIDAR, metasurface, 3D nanoprinting. Our long-term goals are to generate high efficient EUV/DUV laser source, reveal phenomena in electron/quantum states, and develop a stae-of-the-art optic/photonic measurement system through scientific and engineering efforts and field validations.
